Community Service Project

This School Community Service Project was designed to impact the 11th-grade student body, school personnel, and the broader community of Juan Suárez Peregrina School in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The need for this project became evident on Saturday, February 8, 2025, when the mayor of Aguadilla issued a tsunami alert and warning following an earthquake near Puerto Rico. The situation quickly escalated into widespread chaos, revealing that the municipality, and specifically the school, was unprepared to respond effectively to a sudden, high-risk situation.
